Smoky Mountain DockDogs Practice
With being the off season, we currently have no scheduled practices. Check back around March/April 2026 when we should have dates planned.
Practices will be held at:
Smoky Mountain K9 Sports
987 Central Church Rd
Morristown, Tennessee 37814
Practices will be from 10am-2pm. You must preregister for practice. There is a limit of 4 slots per hour to ensure everyone has adequate time on the dock. If all slots are filled and you have not preregistered, you may not be able to jump. You can register for SMDD practice at our Sign Up Genius.
Things you need for practice:
1. Favorite Floating Toy
2. 4 ft Leash (no flexi-leads) and flat buckle collar (no choke, prong, martingale while on the dock to jump, but can be used prior to entering the dock)
3. Towels
Optional
1. Folding chair
2. Crate for your dog (while waiting for your turn)
3. Portable fan
4. Canopy tent
5. Water for your dog and you
We will have a practice coach there to help out. You must sign the waiver and then there will be a rotation. Every dog gets two jumps per turn, or if your dog is new, will get 2-3 minutes. You can also go over to the side and work with your dog. We hope that everyone has a great time and will come back and be some awesome members.
