Co-Founder and 2026 Board Director-Trent Steele with Cam

Trent is the Co-Founder to SMDD. He helped start if back in 2009 with Tiffany Flach. He presently has Camille, an awesome girl. Alex is the one that helped start the club and his silhouette is on our logo. They have traveled all over the country going to DockDogs events and World Championships numerous times.

Matt and Theresa have been competing since the fall of 2012., when Theresa wandered into a dog festival with indy and saw a dockdogs set up. they only jumped once, but that was all it took. they immediately signed up to become club members as well as dockdogs worldwide members. several years later finds us members of several affiliate clubs and competing now with 4 of our 6 dogs. we believe there is nothing better to do on a hot summer day, than to be outside, hit the dock and play with your best friend.

I have four dogs at home, Molly 14, Boomer 12, Caspiean 7 and then there's Tank 8. Molly and Boomer also did dockdiving and still do during practice but Tank has taken the spotlight. He has been a great addition to the crew and keeps us on our toes. I started out in the club as a member, thanks to Trent, on to a board member, then to secretary, Vice President, President and now a boardmember. It has been an exciting journey and can't wait to see what 2025 brings!

Michael and Jaxx with his wife and daughter have been with us several years now donating time, energy, and and support to our Club. They are an awesome dock dog family on their own. They also participate in search and rescue with their companions.

2025 Members-Kim Dunn and Katie Dunn with Edgar, Ronny Graham, Riot, Riley, and Jameson

Kim Dunn is owner of Smoky Mountain K9 Sports. She has many animals, but loves the pointy ears. Edgar, Ronny. and Drama are her dock divers. Edgar started it off by jumping off the dock starting at 1-2 feet. Now they have a pool in their yard. Katie is an awesome handler too, She jumps all three dogs.
Kim is also famous for bringing amazing doughnuts. She has been to every well known doughnut shop on the east coast.

Griswold is a happy 10 month old, English yellow lab puppy from Lenoir City, TN. He has many hobbies such as snuggling on the couch, trying new snacks, watching tv, and hanging out with his grandparents, Gram Gram & Papaw. However, his most favorite activity is swimming in the lake and jumping off the boat dock! He’s been doing this since he was 4 months old and he can’t get enough of it. Other than going to Gram Gram & Papaw’s house, Lenoir City Park is his favorite place to be! With all the boat ramps/docks at the park, Griswold always has to try them out every time we’re there, no matter the time of year! We’re so excited to join the team and we can’t wait to get started!
