To pre-register for this event...
In order to register for a DockDogs event, whether a club event or a national event, go to the DockDogs website at www.dockdogs.com. Click on the icon on the right that says Register for Membership or Events. Then, just follow the prompts. You will need enter a Handler ID which is a unique number.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you do not know your handler ID and you have participated in any DockDogs event (club or national), then you already have a Handler ID. Just click on "Recover Handler ID," and it will be sent to you.
If you have never participated in any DockDogs event (club or national), then click on "Register as a DockDogs Handler."
One question we frequently get from newbies is: "Do I have to register for all the waves?" or "Do I have to jump every day of the event?" The answers are: You can register for one or all of the waves. Register for as many waves as your schedule and budget allow. You do not need to be there every day, but you might want to come back on the last day to see if you dog made the finals.

Spare the BIG AIR Challenge 2012
Earth Day Oak Ridge and Smoky Mountain DockDogs present Spare the BIG AIR Challenge sponsored by Grayson Subaru of Knoxville. This is going to be a huge event with over 6,000 people attenfing this event. Music, food, and DockDogs are going to make this the best event to attend! Also called the "Secret City", Oak Ridge, Tn is nestled in the hills of East Tennessee.
We will have a few rules for this competition: 1. This is a green event, so no plastic water bottles. 2. As always, please pick up your dogs waste, especially with a bio-degradable bag. 3. No stakes in the ground. Please bring sand bags or weights! 4. We will be holding a fundraiser for Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. SMDD will be selling tennis balls for 1 for $5 or 5 for $20.
